Going out tonight to a free session to learn all I need to know about Essential Oils. This is off the back of learning what ones are good for the menopause - vlogs about that coming soon. I'm excited to see what else I can find out :-)
In the meantime here's the second in my series on Pilates for Older Women, with one on KNEES. I don't know about you, but for me it was the first thing to start aching - and an area I hear loads of friends having surgery on as they hit their 50's. I even changed to an automatic car years ago as my knees ached from being on the clutch in traffic jams. I blamed it on being knock-kneed and the fact my joints must therefore be a bit out of line! But apparently it happens to loads of us. So to try and prevent needing surgery further down the line, the key is to keep those knees moving. Without straining them. If you don't keep them moving, you will get problems!
It may appear as if I've done nothing since before Christmas but I promise I have! As well as taking down the decorations I've been making some short videos with friends, who also happen to be professionals with just the skillset women around my age need to learn about.
I've done a set of videos on Pilates - focusing on Necks, Knees, Dizziness & Balance and Pelvic Floor. I've also spent some time talking about Essential Oils - specifically in relation to Sleep, Stress, Hormone Balance & Brain Fog. I literally have issues with all those things - except perhaps sleep which I'm ok with at the moment, fingers crossed! First one on Pilates - Necks - now on Youtube.
I've also done the first edit of Thelma & Louise go to Cornwall, but Louise has buggered off to the depths of Mexico so can't give me the green light as she's got no reception. First world problems. I'm tempted to just post it but I did promise...
I've also updated the website a bit by expanding the section on the Menopause to fit in with all this new knowledge I've gained. Hope you have fun checking it out. And Happy 2019!
